John M. Shute was married to daughter of General Donelson and was a member of the church.

General Daniel Smith Donelson who called Hazel Path home along with his wife and 11 children

Major James G. Martin, Jr. married General Donelson’s daughter. In 1869, I was one of three that purchased the plot of land for $234.37 and 1/2 cent to build the FPC and cemetery on.
