                     Proclamation from the city
                     Praise Band concert following

October 13 - Special worship service with previous pastors

                     Tim Reynolds preaching
                     Presentation from the General Assembly of Presbyterian Church
                     Pastor Reception in Martin Hall

October 20 - Worship

                        Recognition of Elder Emeriti individuals

                        Hymn Festival in sanctuary 3:00 p.m.

October 27 - Celebration worship service with bagpipes

                     Proclamation from the state

                     Celebration meal after worship

John M. Shute was married to daughter of General Donelson and was a member of the church.

Major James G. Martin, Jr. married General Donelson’s daughter. In 1869, I was one of three that purchased the plot of land for $234.37 and 1/2 cent to build the FPC and cemetery on.
